How to get back Folder option in Windows XP ?
Learn how to get back the Folder option in Windows XP, if it is either affected by attack of virus or some other error.
Sometimes we find that the folder options is missing in windows explorer due to the effect of some Virus / Trojan or due to any of error caused during our work or any other program. So here is the trick to get back the folder option in windows XP.
To get it back follow the below steps :
- Start >> run >> gpedit.msc >> user configuration >> administrative templates >> windows component >> windows explorer.
- Check the option “remove the folder option menu item from the tools menu” on the right side of screen. If it is not configured then change it to enable by double clicking on it.
- Now after applying, again set it to not configured.
- Restart windows and the folder option is back again.
